Disclaimer for Customer supplied Product

We don't like spending our time talking about legal mumbo jumbo surrounding the rare instances of when things don't go perfect. Unfortunately the topic of spoilage must be covered when You, the customer are supplying garments for decoration.

Spoilage
It is customary in the printing or embroidery process to have a very limited amount of spoilage. Spoilage is defects in the decoration process that prevent a garment from meeting quality standards. With every order we take steps to reduce or eliminate the possibility of spoilage occurring but despite our best effort’s spoilage can occur for different reasons. 

Often times spoilage is completely outside of the control of decorators, such as if a embroidery needle breaks during sewing and punches a hole in a garment or perhaps your garment has special chemicals in the fabric such as an odor blocking agent. These chemicals could react when printed garments are having the ink cured which often occurs at ~320°.  At the end of the day spoilage is infrequent but it does happen.  The industry standard spoilage allowance is 3% for orders of 100 or more pieces or 10% on orders of less than 100 items.

In the event of spoilage on a customer supplied garment Motivated Print's maximum liability will be to credit the customer for the cost of our decoration services. We do not replace customer supplied garments. In the incredibly rare event of spoilage outside of the spoilage range Motivated Print's liability shall be limited to a maximum of $3.49 per garment. Motivated Print will not, at any time, be responsible for any lost profits on items shorted from your order. (IE: If you paid $10 per item to get it decorated, but you sell them for $30.00, Motivated Print is only responsible for the $10 you would have paid us to decorate this item..
